Your EV’s battery may end up on a farm

Automakers are beginning to ponder what to do with electric vehicles' lithium-ion batteries (one shown here) after the autos they power have hit the rust heap. What happens when EV’s reach the end of their life, but their batteries still have some juice in them? Some of them could end up on a “battery farm.”
