GM’s financial chief to step down

A little more than a year ago Chris Liddell was CFO of Microsoft Corp. before being named GM's finance chief. Now he's stepping down from that post too.General Motors Co. said on Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Chris Liddell will leave the U.S. automaker a little more than a year after joining.
